أنماط المات التي يجب أن يعرفها كل لاعب
اللاعبون الأقوياء لا يحسبون كل مات من الصفر. إنهم يتعرّفون على الصورة النهائية، ثم يعودون إلى الوراء ليجدوا النقلات التي تقود إليها. هذه الأنماط الـ19 هي الصور التي تستحق الحفظ.
نمط المات ترتيب ثابت للقطع لا يترك لملك الخصم أي مهرب. بعضها يحتاج فقط إلى رخ وبضعة بيادق تسدّ الطريق، وبعضها يجمع حصانًا ووزيرًا في رقصة ذكية. وكثير منها يحمل أسماء لأنه ظهر في عدد لا يحصى من المباريات منذ أكثر من قرن.
تعلّم الأنماط يفيدك مرتين. في الهجوم تعرف ما الذي تسعى إليه وتستطيع رصد التضحية التي تفرضه. وفي الدفاع تتعرّف على الخطر قبل نقلة، وغالبًا في الوقت المناسب لتمنح ملكك متنفسًا.

كيف ترسّخ أنماط المات في ذهنك
- تعلّم الوضعية النهائية أولًا. ضعها على رقعة وانظر أي مربعات تغطيها كل قطعة.
- ثم حلّ ألغازًا يكون فيها النمط على بعد نقلة أو نقلتين، ولاحقًا ألغازًا يكون فيها أعمق.
- لاحظ قطع المدافع نفسه: في معظم الأنماط هي التي تسدّ مربعات هروب الملك.
- امزج الأنماط بعد أن تعرف عدة منها. المباريات الحقيقية لا تخبرك أي مات قادم.
